Though site building is easy with Weebly, they use their own terms through out the platform and understanding those terms is necessary to make the site building experience fun and quicker. App Center	An official marketplace for Weebly developers and third-party companies to sell their products to millions of Weebly users.
Apps	Apps are generic elements offering any kind of features to Weebly users and can be sold on App Center. For example, “Price Chart” is an app allows users to add pricing tables on their site.
Assets	Assets section in the Weebly code editor contains core theme files and other images which users can view and modify to create a custom theme.
Authorize.net	Authorize.net was one of the payment gateways offered by Weebly for business plan users to accept payment from customers. This is discarded now.

Backend Service	Weebly backend service is an app sold in App Center which can be a drag and drop element on site editor or a service like mailing list which directly integrates with Weebly. Developers and third party companies can develop backend services and sell in App Center marketplace.
Blogging	A feature in Weebly that allows users to create and manage a blog on their website.
Business Plan	Weebly business plan was a premium plan offered by Weebly targeting ecommerce users want to have online web store. This plan is no more available with the addition of Performance plan.
Button Element	Button element is used to add four different styles of buttons on your Weebly site and grouped under “structure” category of elements.

Code Editor	Weebly Code Editor is the user interface to access backend services in order modify source code of the site like HTML header type, main css and other elements.
Custom Domain	A personalized website address (e.g., www.webnots.com) that can be used with a Weebly website.

Designer Platform	Weebly designer platform is a version of Weebly site builder for webmasters who want to manage their own clients with white labeling. The code editor named as RubyGem coder will allow designers to modify content and preview the changes instantly.
Developer Platform	Weebly developer platform was a platform for developers to create apps, elements and backend services to sell on the app center marketplace on revenue sharing basis. This platform is no more available after Square purchased Weebly and planned to merge with their Square Online platform.

Editors	Weebly “Editors” option allows site owners to offer editing and dashboard managing permissions to any additional users they want.
Education Platform	Weebly education platform was a version of Weebly for teachers to create classroom websites and blogs for students. Teachers can create their own sites as well as classroom sites for students. Similarly students can access their sites and carry out the work assigned by the teacher. This platform is discarded.
Elements	Elements are general objects which can be sold as an app in Weebly App Center. They can be connected to individual sites and dragged and dropped like default Weebly elements on site editor.
Embed Code Element	It is an element in Weebly site editor classified under “Basic” category. It is used to embed any HTML, CSS or JavaScript code on the page.

Image Editor	Imageperfect is the name of the image editor part of Weebly’s site editor which allows users to modify their images online within the Weebly site during creating or editing pages. After the image is being uploaded on the page, click on the image to see additional options and chose “Edit Image” to open imageperfect editor.

Lightbox	Lightbox is a pop-up overlaying window shows the original size of an image or a video when clicked on it. The outside area in the page is dimmed out and clicking outside lightbox will exit the popup.
Logo	A graphic element representing a brand, often placed in the website header.
