How to Add Webpage Shortcut in Home Screen of iPhone?
All of us visit some websites more frequently than others. The best example is local news sites. We all read news on our own language mostly through the apps. In this article we will explain how to add webpage shortcut in home screen of iPhone. The same process can be followed on any iOS device like iPad.
Step 1 – Open the Site in Safari
Let us take an example of Wikipedia. We love to open the home page of wikipedia.org for searching instead of the iOS app. Open the wikipedia.org page in Safari and tap on the “Share” icon.
Step 2 – Add Webpage to Home Screen
Tap on “Add to Home Screen” option.
Step 3 – Enter Name for the Page
The default page title will appear the name for your shortcut. You can leave it as it is or enter any name for the webpage shortcut icon.
Step 4 – Check the Icon
Now close the Safari and check on your home screen, you should find the webpage icon added.
Tap the icon to open the webpage in Safari. You can add any webpage shortcut to the home screen of your iPhone to quickly access the page.
