Before Starting
You can initiate this either from your AdSense account or from Analytics account. But the final linking is to be done at Analytics side, so you can start the process directly from there. Before starting ensure you have the followings:
- Approved AdSense account
- Authorized your AdSense site
- Verified Analytics site property
- Administrator access to both accounts
Remember, you can connect one Analytics account property to only one AdSense site.

After successful linking, you can anytime unlink the Analytics property.
View AdSense Reports in Analytics
Now you can view all AdSense related reports directly from your Analytics account. Also parameters like eCPM, ad impressions will get added in the report from AdSense data.
Go to Analytics account and navigate to ‘Behavior > Publisher’ section. You can check earnings overview, publisher pages and publisher referrers report from the AdSense account data.
We have noticed that the revenue details are different (generally lower) in Analytics reports compared to AdSense reports. But Analytics reports will give you details like which page earns more, which advertising source pays you more and many others details that are difficult to get from AdSense reports.
