Weebly offers simple way to sell your products online and convert your site into an online store. You can either create a store as a new site or add store page to your existing site. Weebly eCommerce features are offered as part of business plan which includes all pro features, SSL certificate and eCommerces features. In order to create an online store it is necessary to understand the basic structure offered by Weebly. The store hierarchy is explained in the below picture with the example of a garment store.
Customizing Your Store
Click on “Store” tab in Weebly editor to checkout the various customizing options for your store. For example, you can choose the legacy mode for your product element under “Settings” to retain the existing style.
Checkout Options
Weebly offers three checkout options:
- PayPal
- Square
- Stripe
The checkout will happen on your own domain if you have a business plan or else it will be through checkout.weebly.com.

Weebly charge approximately USD 20 per month for its business plan which includes all eCommerce features along with SSL certificate and pro package.
It is recommended to upgrade to a business plan:
- If you are interested to open a full fledged online store.
- Selling digital goods.
- Want to include shipping and tax information.
- Want to have an inventory management.
- Want to have secure https checkout on your own domain.
Note: The latest Weebly interface has options to create product items and categories in dashboard and you do not need to go to Weebly editor. This means, all products and categories will be available for all sites under your account.
Do weebly business plan, Ecommerce plan and hostgator hosting using weebly basic+Ecommerce plan support membership? Is there a limit on the number of members? Thanks
Weebly’s business and ecommerce plans same which has membership feature with no limit. We are not sure about Hostgator, pelase check with them before signup.
