Though Weebly has an easy drag and drop site builder interface, you need to integrate lot of third-party services to add additional functionalities. Weebly offers many in-built third-party elements to make the task easier for you to create a beautiful site. Besides these elements, you will also have a full access to edit you HTML/CSS to modify site’s theme to suit your requirements.

1. YouTube Video Embedding in Weebly
You can simply add any YouTube video URL or video ID to embed the video in your site using “YouTube” element offered by Weebly. Enter the video URL, select the video size, position to be displayed in and publish your site.
2. Tal.ki Forum in Weebly (Retired)
Converting your Weebly site into a forum is easy by using a third party element “Forum”. This forum element offers a limited forum from a third party called Tal.ki. Drag and drop “Forum” element in the content area to enable forum in your site.
You can use Nabble forum as an alternative to Tal.ki.
3. Polldaddy Online Poll (Retired)
Enabling poll in your Weebly site is as simple as dragging and dropping the “Poll” element in the site’s content area. You need to go through the step by step Polldaddy process by clicking on the “Edit Poll” button to customize your poll.
Polldaddy is renamed as Crowdsignal and you can use the free plan from their site as the element is now removed from Weebly editor. Otherwise, you can use the in-built “Survey” element for this purpose.
3. Google Maps in Weebly
Weebly offers you to enable the map in your site using “Map” element. This element uses the Google map and you can customize your map for zooming, scaling and type of viewing.
4. BookFresh Online Bookings in Weebly
Bookings element in Weebly uses the third-party tool BookFresh to offer users to accept online bookings through their site. You need to create a BookFresh account in order to accept online bookings through your Weebly site.
BookFresh is now Square Appointments and you can use the free or premium plan as needed.
5. Google AdSense in Weebly Site
Monitize your online content using Google AdSense element in your site. Google reviews your site and send you a confirmation email in case your site is eligible for AdSense program.
6. Document Embedding Using Scribd
Document element allows you to embed documents using third-party provider Scribd. This element offers all the features of Scribd with the access set to private which means by default the uploaded documents in Weebly can’t be accessed by anyone from Scribd.
You can upload any kind of document like an interactive presentation to attract the user’s attention with “File” element.
7. SWF File Upload Using Flash Element
Flash element is used to add Adobe flash files to your site. This is an easy way to add images with links and small animations to your site. The issue is that Adobe flash is not supported by some of the browsers and high end devices like Apple iPad and iPhone. Hence it is not recommended to use flash element to display very important information on the site.
8. Online Payment Checkout Options
Weebly offers multiple options to accept payments from your online store. Besides accepting various credit cards, ecommerce options of PayPal and Authorize.Net also available for the product selling through your Weebly site. If you want to insert custom code, there is an “Embed Code” element which helps to insert code in-between your content. You can also use the header / footer sections in each page’s settings to insert code in page level or use the header / footer sections in site’s settings for site level code insertion.
