File element in Weebly helps you to upload any type of file to your Weebly site. Once uploaded you can link the file to any text, image or button. Weebly offers maximum file upload size limit of 250MB for Pro users and unlimited files can be uploaded in any single page of your site. This means Weebly Pro users have no storage limitation for their site content. The comparison of file upload limit for Pro, Starter and Free users are as below:

How to Upload a File?
Just drag and drop the “File” element in the content area and upload the file you want.
In case if you want to link the file to some free text or Button text (like “Download Now”) then select the text and you will see the link option in the pop-up.
Once you click on the link chain you will see another pop-up showing the options to select an existing file or upload a new file. Save your changes and publish your site.
Points to Note
- Currently there is no option available in the Weebly editor front-end to delete the uploaded files from your site.
- Raise a support ticket mentioning the file name to delete it from your site.
- Uploaded files will also be indexed by the search engines if it is linked in any of your content.
- Weebly Pro users have an option to add file upload button inside the contact form.
