Bing search shows Copilot AI response in multiple places. You can find the automatic response in the sidebar or by scrolling up the screen. You also have a “Copilot” filter to open AI response and continue it as a chat conversation. Since AI responses are factually incorrect in most cases, you can simply disable Copilot that automatically appears in Bing search results. If at all you want, simply go to “Copilot” filter and use it as a chatbot.

AI Response in Bing Search

Below is the chat screen that appears when you swipe or scroll up the Bing search results page or click on the “COPILOT” filter.
Disable Copilot Response in Bing
Simply open Bing website and click the three horizontal lines Settings icon showing on top right corner. Expand “Copilot Settings” menu from the list.
- Turn off “Copilot response on result page” option to remove the automatic AI response.
- Turn off “Scroll to open Copilot” option to disable the chat conversation screen that opens when you swipe or scroll up the screen.
Bing will reload the search results page when you turn off these options and shows the clutter free results page without any AI responses.
Note: At this point, there are no settings in Google search to disable the AI Overview. However, you can use the “Web” filter to only show web search results without AI overview.
