Multimedia makes your site more beautiful and gives a stunning look. In general, multimedia elements offer an interactivity by providing the progress control to users like pausing or playing a video. Adding multimedia elements to your Weebly site is as simple as dragging and dropping an element and uploading the content. Weebly offers multimedia elements under “Media” category which consists of elements applicable for free and Weebly Pro users.

1. Slideshow Element
Slideshow element offers you to create an image slides out of six default style for controlling the navigation and thumbnails. Free users are allowed to use this element only in the site content area whereas Pro users can use slideshow in the site footer and header. Each image in the slideshow can be independently linked to a webpage. Weebly slideshow allows user to play/pause the slides and move to next/previous slides any point of time. You can set the play control for auto or manual in the advanced menu option.
2. YouTube Video Upload
You can simply add any YouTube video URL or video ID to embed the video in your site using “YouTube” element offered by Weebly. Enter the video URL, select the video size and position to be displayed in and publish your site.
3. Flash Element
Flash element is used to add Adobe flash files (SWF) to your site. This is an easy way to add images with links and small animations to your site. The issue is that Adobe flash is not supported by some of the browsers and high-end devices like Apple iPad and iPhone. Hence it is not recommended to use flash element to display very important information on the site.
4. Document Upload
Document element allows you to embed documents using third-party provider Scribd. You can upload any kind of document like an interactive presentation to attract the user’s attention. This element offers all the features of Scribd with the access set to private which means by default the uploaded documents in Weebly can’t be accessed by anyone from Scribd.
5. File Upload
File element allows to upload any kind of files to your site which can be just downloaded by the user. Weebly restricts the file upload size for Pro, Free and Starter users as shown in the table beside.

Note: Once the file is uploaded in your Weebly site there is no way you can delete the file in front end. You need to raise a support ticket to delete any uploaded files.
6. HD Video Player Element
HD Video player is one of the prominent features of Weebly Pro pack. This is a video player and not a video creating tool. HD Video element allows the pro users to upload up to 1GB video file size with unlimited number of video uploads. Uploaded videos are unbranded and automatically converted to a HD version. HD Video element supports all standard formats and allows you to choose various video sizes.
7. Audio Player Element
Weebly Audio element allows the Pro users to add a simple audio player to their site. Only single audio track can be uploaded and played using this player.
Note: “Embed Code” element (Custom HTML) is the simple option for both free and Pro users to add more multimedia elements like embedding audio and videos from the sites like Vimeo or Soundcloud.
