Earlier was GoDaddy was offering Webmail interface which you can purchase along with domain and other products. However, recently they discontinued Webmail and migrated all accounts to popular Microsoft Office 365 Email. If you are new to Office 365 Email with GoDaddy, then here are some useful tips to manage your emails like a pro.
GoDaddy Microsoft Office 365 Email
When you purchase Office 365 Email subscription from GoDaddy, you can manage most of the account settings within your GoDaddy account. You do not need to configure anything in Office account for this purpose. However, it is also possible to login to Outlook or setup local apps on your device to use your email account.
1. Signing In to GoDaddy Office 365 Email
Many users confuse the email login process in GoDaddy with their account login. Your email address and password are different than your GoDaddy product account details. GoDaddy account login needs a username or customer ID and password. However, logging in to your Office 365 Email needs your email address setup on the domain and password. So, make sure to use the correct detail for logging into your email account.
- Go to GoDaddy website and click on the “Sign In” link showing on to right corner.
- It will show a long dropdown list of items and scroll down to bottom of the menu.
- Click on “Sign in to Office 365 Email” link showing under “Inbox Links” section.
This will take you to Outlook web login page where you can enter your email and password to login to your account.
Now, you will see the Outlook web interface and start working on your emails.
2. Accessing Control Center
Login to you Outlook email does not offer any options to change your email settings. For this you need to login to your GoDaddy product account. When you click on “Sign In” link, select “Sign In” option under “Registered User” section.
When you are in GoDaddy account page, scroll down and check under “Email & Office” section. Here you can find all your Office 365 email accounts for each domain.
Click on “Option link to open a pop-up showing the details of your email account. Go to “Customize” tab and click on “Launch Control Center” button as shown in the below picture.

3. Renew or Upgrade Email Service
Remember, Office 365 is now known as Microsoft 365 and is a subscription based service. So, you need to subscribe to use GoDaddy Office 365 Email. The above pop-up screen will show the details of your current plan and go to “Overview” tab. It will show you the details for renewing as well as upgrading options applicable for your case. Under “Upgrade” option click on the dropdown and select the plan you want to purchase. Check the cost and features of each plan before you renew or upgrade.

4. Create Alias for Microsoft 365 Email in GoDaddy
GoDaddy email Control Center is the place where you can manage all email related settings. The most important setup is to create email aliases to use multiple email accounts under single plan. Aliases work like catch all email in GoDaddy workspace email. For example, let us say, your primary email address is “[email protected]”. You can add aliases like [email protected] and [email protected]. In this case, all emails sent to alias email addresses will be received under the primary account “[email protected]”. Remember, you can’t reply as alias email, it will be always from your primary email account. GoDaddy allows to setup maximum 400 aliases for your primary email account.
When you are in the Control Center, click on “Aliases” option under “Manage” section.
You will all existing aliases and click on “Add Alias” button to add a new account.
Enter the email and make sure to select the correct domain if you have multiple domains setup in your account. Click “Save” button to add a new alias to your email account.
5. Email Forwarding
Email forwarding is an essential feature when you manage multiple domains. This is different from creating aliases as forwarding works between two domains while aliases work within same domain. Click on “Forwarding” option and enter your email to receive the forwarded emails. You can also keep a copy of emails in original account. Click “Save” button to create new email forwarding setup with GoDaddy Microsoft 365 email account.
6. Set Signature for Your Email
Click on the “Signature” option under “Setup” section. Add your name, address and upload your logo image. Click “Generate Signature” button to create a signature for your email.

7. Setup Outlook on Desktop and Mobile
You can add GoDaddy Microsoft 365 Email account in any device like iPhone, Android, Windows or Mac. You need to enter email address and password in most cases to add the account. However, if you want to know the details, click “Setup email on mobile” or “Setup email on desktop” options under “Setup” section. You can select the device and go through the process for setting your account.
8. Check DNS for Troubleshooting
When your GoDaddy Microsoft 365 Email is not working, then the first thing you need to check is your DNS setup. On your email control center, click on the “Recheck DNS” option available under “Setup” section. This will confirm your DNS setup is correctly setup. If this does not solve your problem, then go to your domain settings and check the MX records for your email.
9. Custom Email Login Page for Your Business
Instead of using GoDaddy login page, you can create a custom email login page for your GoDaddy Microsoft 365 Email account. Click on the “My Brand” menu from the top navigation of email control center. This will open a new page where you can create a new login page and signature for your account. Click on “Create Page” button to open the editor where you can design your email login page.
On the design editor, you can add your business name, tagline, upload logo and customize the colors. Preview your page and click publish to use on your domain for logging into emails. You can access the page with the URL as email.yourdomain.com.
Any time you can edit the page and customize the settings again.
10. Use Distribution Group
If you frequently need to send emails to group of people then using distribution group is the best option. It helps to type a single group email and avoid typing all participant’s emails separately. Go to “Admin > Distribution Groups” menu and click “Add Distribution Group” button.
On the next screen, enter your group name and addresses to create a new group.
11. Unblock Your Email
Sometimes, you may not be able to send emails from GoDaddy Microsoft 365 Email and the emails will be bouncing back. To fix this issue, go to “Admin > Unblock Email” menu. Select the type of bounce back that you can see in the email, fill up other details and submit. GoDaddy support team will scan your account and help to fix the problem. If you are not able to access GoDaddy email, make sure to provide another email where you can get the update of the submitted ticket details.
